By using Tenant Trace you agree to these terms.
The service
Tenant Trace helps document residential rental units before signing or returning keys. Reports include photos, GPS, timestamps, voice transcripts, and a SHA-256 fingerprint for tamper-evidence.
Not legal advice
Tenant Trace cites publicly available state statutes for informational purposes only. Citations are not legal advice. Verify with the official state code or an attorney before relying on a citation in any dispute.
Purchases
Tenant Trace Pro is a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple. There is no subscription, no auto-renew, and no trial. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Acceptable use
Do not use Tenant Trace to record or document a property without consent of the parties present. Do not capture identifying information about minors or third parties without consent.
No warranty
The service is provided "as-is." We do not warrant that citations are current, that PDFs will be accepted in any specific court, or that landlords will co-sign.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the app (currently $9.99) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
